Summary: Places direct customer orders, provides follow-up, and expedites orders. Works directly with Territory Sales Managers, Project Coordinators and operations to ensure all customer orders are processed in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for sales/parts phone calls from customers and if necessary redirect calls to the appropriate company personnel.

  • Create sales orders from information collected by Territory Sales Managers, Project Coordinators and customer P.O.  Tracks and expedites customer orders through production.

  • Ensure all orders are entered completely, thoroughly and in a timely manner (i.e. billing, shipping, line items, etc.).

  • Builds, develops, and maintains successful relationships with customers, Territory Sales Managers and Project Coordinators.

  • Work directly with customers to ensure satisfaction on every order placed (i.e. ship dates, invoices, order tracking).

  • Communicate with customers on orders.  This can be a letter via the post office or email, fax or verbal.

  • Help assist with RMA/RMR paperwork to ensure all orders are entered, followed through with and billed correctly.

  • Scans customer purchase orders, signed quotes and agreements into project folder in a timely manner.

  • Assist with sales efforts, promotions and customer relations. 

  • Assist with the support of the VP of Sales to ensure all customer’s needs are taken care of and all proposals are submitted on time.

  • Assist the Inside Sales Coordinator Team Leader with the organization and facilitation of weekly sales meeting including prepare presentations

  • Assists in the creation of proposals and quotes for customers, follows through with purchase agreement for large jobs.

  • Assist Project Coordinators, Territory Sales Mangers in collecting correct information for new orders. Information such as bill to, ship to, correct sales tax rate or an exemption certificate and a contact name at the site.

  • Assist Territory Sales Managers and Project Coordinators in sales efforts and construct agreements to purchase products and/or services.

  • Assist as necessary with contracts, purchase agreements, down payments and monthly billing on contracts.

Education/Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
