Industrial INNOVation

Kahler Automation partners with diverse businesses across the industrial sector. Many unique projects have been authored by the Kahler team, including irrigation and waste water treatment management, prison and hospital door access controls, loading and inventory tracking of LP and NH3, mining operation controls, and many more.

Several of these projects required the creation of custom solutions that have become standards over time. This is one of the many benefits of partnering with a company willing to take on projects that often have more unknowns than knowns. With an experienced engineering team and proven products designed with modularity in mind, Kahler can assist in virtually any industry.

ETHANOL

Kahler has been part of the automation solution at the vast majority of U.S. ethanol facilities, with a focus on grain and by-product management. Each site required a unique solution — including the control of grain receiving, truck receive and loadout, door controls, traffic routing equipment and scale integration software — in order to realize maximum efficiencies.

CONTAINER FILLING SYSTEMS

Kahler has created many custom solutions for controlling container-filling, from kegs to totes to water towers. In many of these applications a laser-guided stinger is used to precisely fill the container. This technology, coupled with Kahler controllers, container shuttling equipment and process management software, provides a complete solution. Click here for info on our high-speed tote filler.

Sugar Beet TEMPERATURE CONTROLS

A particular challenge in the sugar beet industry is spoilage from excessive heat. Kahler assisted a large grower by creating a system to monitor temperatures within their giant beet piles. Cool air fed into tubes under the beets was controlled by an innovative Kahler system ensuring a constant 34° F temperature. Click here for more info.
