FAIRMONT, MINN. – Materials Coordinator Emily Fraser has been named Kahler Automation's 2025 Bison Award winner, selected by her fellow employees at Kahler and announced June 30, 2026.
The Bison Award is Kahler Automation's annual recognition of an individual who has exhibited great team spirit and the ability to tackle difficult challenges head-on over the course of the previous year, while sharing the company's dedication to customer service and innovation.
"This was very unexpected," said Fraser, who recently celebrated her 10-year milestone at Kahler Automation. "I know the list of nominees was strong, so I’m in a great group of people. I appreciate the recognition."
In her role at Kahler, Fraser coordinates the purchasing of materials, parts, and assemblies for the organization, and expedites their flow to the various departments.
Kahler Automation CEO Jessica Geelan said Fraser displays all of Kahler’s core values every day.
“Emily never hesitates to help service check pricing, or help find alternative parts, or schedule meetings with industry partners to keep everything moving forward,” Geelan said. “She also goes above and beyond with the company culture, always lifting spirits in the office with a positive attitude. Our thanks to Emily for being a champion of fun and happiness.”
Past Bison Award recipients include Sam Viesselman, Hollee Klesh, Caleb Johnson, Amanda Philipp, Holden Bohm, Thad Leiding, Jordan Honnette, Jesse Hoffmann, and Max Haake.
