August's software updates focus on giving your team more control, better visibility, and fewer interruptions across the Kahler ecosystem. This month's release introduces redesigned navigation and account menus in Constellation®, new load-suspension and equipment-status tools for FLEXCOMMAND 2866 in Plant Supervisor (PSX®), and reliability improvements across Terminal Management (TMX®), LOADPASS®, and Self-Serve.
From faster load building and safer equipment handoffs to clearer error notifications and more reliable ticket printing, these updates are designed to help your operations run more smoothly with less manual cleanup.
Configurable User Profile Permissions
Constellation now enforces user profile permissions across the platform, giving administrators greater control over what each user role can see and do.
Streamlined Account Menu
The account dropdown has been divided into three focused menus – Business Switcher, Developer Tools, and User Account – making it faster to find the right action without searching through one crowded list.
Redesigned Left Navigation
The left navigation has been reorganized into logical groups, including Orders, Products, Purchase Orders, Logistics, and more. It can also collapse into an icon rail with hover flyouts, keeping every page one click away while reducing clutter for teams who prefer a compact view.
Automatic Email Notifications for AgVantage Errors
Constellation can now send an email notification the moment an AgVantage integration error occurs, helping your team identify sync issues sooner instead of discovering them later.
Expanded Fieldalytics Integration Logging
Additional detail has been added to the logs behind the Fieldalytics integration, helping Kahler Support and your team pinpoint the source of an issue faster when something doesn't sync as expected.

More Reliable Carrier Load Question Configuration
Fixed an issue where selecting multiple carrier custom load questions on the configuration page could be lost after the list was re-sorted. Selections now remain intact, eliminating the need to re-enter them.
Owner Name Sync Fix
Fixed an issue where an owner name change made in TMX wasn't reflected on the Constellation connector home screen. The two systems now stay in sync.

Site User Removal Fix
Fixed an issue that prevented administrators from removing a site user who had previously loaded an order. Users can now be removed as expected while preserving the associated order history.

Suspend and Transfer Workflow
Operators can now temporarily suspend an active load on FLEXCOMMAND 2866 systems so a higher-priority load can use shared equipment without waiting for the current load to finish.
Surge Hopper Empty Status
PSX now confirms when a FLEXCOMMAND 2866 surge hopper has fully cleared before handing it off to the next load, helping prevent product mixing between orders that share equipment.
Easier Weigh Hopper Product Assignment
Changing which weigh hopper dispenses a product on 2866 PS and FLEXCOMMAND 2866 systems is now easier to find, eliminating the need for operators to know a hidden click area to make the change.
Faster Load Building
Improvements to how PSX builds a load's list of operations reduce the time it takes to get a load moving, particularly for loads created by the Load Optimizer.
Weigh Hopper Discharge Sharing On by Default for New Installs
New PSX installations now default to sharing mixer discharge across weigh hoppers simultaneously, matching how most FLEXCOMMAND systems are configured today. Existing systems are unaffected and will retain their current setting.
FLEXCOMMAND 2866 Panel Release Safeguard
The option to release a panel from a load while waiting is now automatically disabled for FLEXCOMMAND 2866 controllers. This helps prevent a waiting load from tying up equipment another load needs to finish.
Follow-By Percentage Fix for FLEXCOMMAND Discharge
Fixed an issue where a panel configured with a follow-by percentage wouldn't begin its wait as expected while a higher-ranked FLEXCOMMAND panel was still discharging. This removes unnecessary delays between fills.
Order Unit of Measure Conversion Fix
Fixed an issue where incoming order item requests from Agris could report in the wrong unit of measure. PSX now converts these requests to match the unit configured in each product's order item settings.
More Reliable Software Updates
PSX now clears out leftover update data before checking for a new update, helping prevent errors caused by files left behind from a previous interrupted update.

More Reliable Ticket Printing
Fixed an issue that caused some printed DataMatrix codes to fail when scanned at Self-Serve kiosks. Ticket printing is now more reliable for affected transactions.
