Q: How does Kahler help you achieve your business goals?

"Productivity-wise, it’s very fast. Gets the trucks in and out and it’s not so labor-intensive. Where our old plant you needed hands-on manual labor; this, it’s a lot better."

Q: Why did you involve Kahler in this project?

"So our southern locations, we have an agronomy center like this, very similar, they are Kahler Automation. So, heard nothing but good things about them, and have some employees here that have some Kahler background from other companies; heard nothing but good things so thought it was the right fit."

Q: How has productivity improved at your new facility?

"At the prior site we’d usually have two sprayers running out of there, very labor intensive, and that kept-- two sprayers kept that place humpin’ all day long. Now we run four sprayers, five sprayers at a time out of here; it’s much faster. Tanker-loads usually about 10 minutes start-to-finish. That’s a full tanker-load. It’s probably twice as fast here. It’s very productive and, like I said, it’s much easier, labor-wise."

Q: How did Kahler help get your facility up and running?

"When we got ready to start the plant up, Kahler sent out two guys for three days, went through training with three of us. Very, very helpful. We went through everything. They would put everything on emulation, so it was like we were really doing everything. They were very good."

Q: What is your experience with Kahler support?

"Two or three times we had to call tech support, been very good. Usually they answer and if they don’t they get right back to you. And they’ve been able to fix the problem over the phone every time."

Q: Would you recommend Kahler Automation to others?

"It’s state-of-the-art. Yeah, I would recommend it in a heartbeat to anybody. From the training to the tech support, they’ve been good to us."
