Fairmont, Minn. - Kahler Automation announced today a new bulk material handling system has been added to its solution lineup.
FLEXCOMMAND® is a premium control system, designed to provide a single, user-friendly interface with centralized settings and a minimal footprint.
“This design is setting a new standard for automation,” said Kahler Automation Product Manager Aaron Burmeister. “We combined speed and accuracy with a modern compact design, drastically reducing our system footprint and removing unnecessary cabling, controllers and wall panels.”
Burmeister said not only has the look changed but the functionality and accessibility, as well.
“With measuring devices communicating directly to the PLC over ethernet, FLEXCOMMAND reduces installation costs and increases overall accessibility,” said Burmeister. “This system is also engineered for expansion, allowing it to grow right alongside your operation.
Other features include windows-based HMI capabilities, remote support, and ample memory and high-speed processing. Five FLEXCOMMAND systems are available, each designed for specific needs.
