FAIRMONT, MINN. — Customer Experience Specialist Amanda Philipp has been named Kahler Automation’s Bison Award winner for 2021, as chosen by her fellow employees at Kahler and announced during an online, all-staff meeting on May 5th, 2022.

The Bison Award is Kahler Automation’s annual recognition of an individual who has exhibited great team spirit and the ability to tackle difficult challenges head-on — while sharing the company’s dedication to customer service and innovation — over the course of the previous year.

A certificate given to Philipp included the following inscription:

Amanda has demonstrated a strong commitment to Kahler Automation through significant contributions using the values of curiosity, quality and service — including through a comprehensive internal survey of departments that use sites, and using the results to implement an improved definition, consolidation, and cross reference for an accurate Site Index to better support our business systems, support references, software, and projects.

“I’d like to congratulate Amanda on receiving the 2021 Bison Award for employee excellence. She’s definitely demonstrated and embodied the core values of Kahler Automation,” said VP of Sales & Marketing Mark Mohr at the announcement, noting her involvement in several committees and taking on numerous challenges “above and beyond” her regular role as Customer Experience Specialist.

“She really helps to drive the organization forward with a high level of commitment.”

Past Bison Award recipients are Holden Bohm, Thad Leiding, Jordan Honnette, Jesse Hoffmann, and Max Haake.
