Building high-quality automation control systems with precision and on-schedule is no easy task, but Kahler Automation’s Production Department does just that every day.

As orders come in from sales, Solution consultants work with engineering to ensure accurate technical drawings, and with Project Managers to ensure schedules mesh. Parts are pulled from inventory and ordered from suppliers; meanwhile labels for panels and assemblies are printed with a laser engraver. Assemblies are then put together, enclosures and back panels are drilled or milled, and equipped with parts.

From there they are wired according to schematics and checked for quality. PLC programs are loaded and software is installed, and all panels and assemblies are quality tested. The finished products are packaged and shipped according to schedule.

If any issues are encountered with drawings during the production process, mark-ups are reviewed by engineering and updated by drafters. The end result is the best possible product, delivered on-time.
