Kahler Automation hires John Christ as CEO/Integrator
FAIRMONT, MN – Kahler Automation has selected John Christ as the company’s CEO/Integrator. He officially takes the reins on Monday, March 15, 2021.
Christ (pronounced “crist”) brings decades of engineering, project management, and leadership experience to Kahler Automation, most recently as manager of Rockwell Automation’s Industrial Plant Services business unit. His strong background in delivering power and automation to industries matches the strength of Kahler’s commitment to providing powerful solutions for its customers.
Christ is a licensed professional engineer, holding a B.S. in Engineering Science from Iowa State University, an M.B.A. from DePaul University, and an M.S. in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Known for a thoughtful nature and active listening, his focus as an industry professional includes strategic planning and analysis, budget administration, and relationship building.

Company founder Wayne Kahler, who has been serving as interim CEO since October 2020, will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board.

John grew up on the west side of Chicago. He and his wife, Pam, met in college and have been married for 30 years; they have two grown children, living in East Lansing, Mich., and Austin, Texas. The Christs enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, playing cards and board games, and visiting their children. They look forward to exploring the Fairmont area.
