DATABASE BACKUP

Ransomware attacks on U.S. infrastructure have recently been in the news. Even without an attack, servers and computer drives are machines that may require unplanned replacement.

These are sobering reminders to take data integrity seriously. It's important to review your facility's security plans to ensure your data is backed up appropriately. If you ever need to reinstall software and databases following a data loss you'll be thankful to have had good backups in place.

Kahler Automation does not keep backups of customer facility data. Your own company IT team must ensure your data is configured to back-up to an appropriate location and to regularly ensure backups are successful and usable. Kahler Automation does provide a Knowledge Base article to help guide your IT team in the right direction.
